Morte D’Arthur Reflection

Both Morte D’Arthur and The Knight’s Tale use most of the same qualities. Some of the qualities are, live by honor and glory, preserver to the end of all tasks, never refuse a challenge from an equal, and speak the truth. In Morte d’Arthur, Arthur and his knights live by honor and glory and so do William and his men. When Arthur is fighting Mordred he preservers to the end and fights until he dies. William in The Knight’s Tale, preservers and ends up winning the tournament an the girl. In both the story and the movie nobody backs down from a challenge. Although, it took William a while to speak the truth he eventually did and it benefited him in the end. For Arthur and his knights, speaking the truth is a big must for them and the code.

In today’s media world theses quality’s still affect the movies, books, and shows. These qualities were in The Knight’s Tale and that movie is way more recent to the days King Arthur lived. These qualities continue to pop in media because it entertains people and the qualities are familiar. And they are working because they still use them in today’s society.
